During your internship or co-op with Meltech, you will develop invaluable skills that will serve you throughout your career in the construction field. Whether you are a recent graduate or still studying, we have a wide variety of graduate, internship and work study positions available to meet your needs so you can balance both your personal and professional aspirations.
Recent Graduates
Meltech’s recent graduate positions are for those who have recently graduated or will be graduating from a university in less than a year, and are looking to launch their career.
Interns
Meltech’s internship program is tailored to current students who are a year or two away from graduation. Our internship program provides undergraduates with the opportunity to work on landmark projects or in offices around the National Capitol Region and help deliver extraordinary results to our customers. In the Meltech internship program you will learn how the construction business works, gain valuable job and/or management experience and help to make an impact on our projects, culture, and organization.
Meltech’s internship programs are purposely designed to deliver our interns the knowledge, experience, and skillsets needed to support them in their education and future career. Intern program components include:
- Technical Training: Meltech offers growth and development designed around individual needs for interns to gain exposure in your specific field.
- Lunch & Learns: Guest speaker sessions hosted by various business leaders to provide insight into the business and give you the opportunity to ask questions to support learning.
- Priorities & Feedback based on your role: Interns set personal priorities, which combine what you will deliver to the business and what you want out of the program – and you’ll receive feedback from your supervisor to ensure success.
- Buddy System: You are paired with a buddy in the business to help answer your questions, provide guidance, and be another resource to engage with and learn from in addition to your supervisor.
